WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work with fellow Technicians and Engineers to fabricate items using various techniques, such as welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing
- Perform quality checks on completed products
- Troubleshoot issues with the fabrication equipment
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Reading and interpreting blue prints and drawing
- Welding (GMAW/FCAW/GTAW) of steel, stainless, aluminum, exotic alloys with 2-5 years experience
- Metal fabrication in an R&D environment with 2-5 years experience
- Sheet metal fabrication experience (using press brakes, finger brakes, slip rollers, bead rollers, and other forming equipment) with 2-5 years experience
- Basic use of conventional machining equipment (mill/lathe)
- Ability to work through R&D tasks with limited oversight (evaluate, design, order materials, execute)
- High level of mechanical aptitude (aerospace/automotive/motorsports background)
- Advanced mathematical and engineering skills
- Advanced knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures
- Ability to multi-task
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Water Jet/Laser cutting experience
- CAD (Solidworks) experience
- General knowledge with AC and DC electrical systems
US Hourly Range
$37.01—$49 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
