Job requirements
The Job
Design, implement, and maintain security controls across web, backend, and cloud infrastructure
Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities through regular testing and monitoring
Conduct application security reviews, threat modelling, and penetration testing
Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines by integrating security checks (DevSecOps)
Monitor security events and lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation
Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to embed security-by-design
Support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and internal security audits
The Ideal Candidate
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Has 3+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or DevSecOps
Strong understanding of web security principles (OWASP Top 10, API security, authentication & authorisation)
Hands-on experience securing cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Experience with security tools for vulnerability scanning, monitoring, and testing
Familiar with encryption, secrets management, and identity & access management
Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication
Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while balancing speed with security
