Job requirements
As CTO at Atlys, you’ll define the technology vision behind a product powering travel experiences at global scale. This is an opportunity to shape not only the engineering organization, but also the product, company, and future of international mobility itself.
You’ll work closely with the founders to drive architecture, scale engineering systems, and build a world-class engineering organization. From infrastructure and AI to product velocity and platform reliability, you’ll define how Atlys builds, ships, and scales.
The Job
Define and drive Atlys’ long-term technology vision, architecture, and engineering strategy
Build and scale reliable, secure, and high-performing systems across product, infrastructure, and data platforms
Lead and grow high-performing engineering teams across backend, frontend, mobile, platform, and AI/data
Drive engineering excellence through strong architecture, developer experience, observability, and execution standards
Partner closely with founders and cross-functional leaders to shape product, business, and organizational strategy
The Ideal Candidate
14+ years of engineering experience, including leadership in high-scale product or infrastructure environments
4+ years in leadership roles such as CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering
Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, scalability, reliability, and platform architecture
Proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations in fast-moving startup or growth-stage environments, ideally in consumer internet or global products
Strong product thinking, technical judgment, and first-principles problem solving
Comfortable operating in high-ownership, fast-moving environments with ambitious goals
