As part of the Member Services team within Customer Experience, the Plan Operations team owns specialized processes that require close collaboration with finance, legal, product, and other internal teams. The Plan Operations -- Plan Structure, Launch & Design team (PSL&D) will be responsible for owning and further developing key processes that support and enable the Member Claims team and successful client implementations. PSL&D owns, builds, and maintains Collective Health’s core business logic and system while implementing our clients’ healthcare plans onto the Collective Health platform.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the management and execution of the day-to-day operations of our medical plans and client plan design experience, including but not limited to:
    • Applying plan design expertise to triage and respond to complex and/or high priority plan stack and research tickets including advanced sales scoping requests
    • Supporting new and existing team members by holding regular training meetings, coordinating job shadowing activities, and supporting new team members throughout the onboarding and training process
    • Owning complex and/or high priority benefit builds and modifications for new and existing benefits
  • Assist in managing and supporting the end-to-end implementation process for new and renewal clients, including but not limited to:
    • Supporting the project management & timeline management for new and renewal client implementations for the Launch team
    • Supporting the client non-facing component of new and renewal client implementations as well as managing high touch and/or complex implementations and new program partner integrations around our members plan matrices, building and updating current member custom benefits, benefit grids, preventive guidebooks and other related SOPs specific to the Structure team
    • Owning internal & external coordination efforts to resolve complex plan design questions & issues
    • Actioning team/cross-functional quality checking key member-facing materials (SBCs, SPDs, OE takeaways, network benefit grids, member benefit audits, rules, portals and more)
    • Managing the project plan for rules build out and plan testing as well as resolving bugs related to the plan stack prior to go-live
    • Acting as a Benefit Grid gatekeeper
  • Own & apply a scalability lens to several key areas in Plan Operations -- plan stack, plan testing, data gathering workflows, plan design and analytics inquiries, and more including:
    • Working with the development team to build internal tools to improve processes as we identify and fix problems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Member Claims, Product, Development, Legal, Clinical, Copy, and Client Success teams to delight our customers

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least two (2) years of medical/insurance industry experience
  • To be familiar with medical coding working within our plan matrices and internal platforms/systems
  • To be able to work well under pressure well as our team holds to tight SLA, Implementation and project deadlines
  • To have Excellent Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites skills, particularly in Excel / gSheets and PowerPoint / Slides
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with extreme attention to detail and accuracy
  • To think critically and are willing to question the status quo in a constructive and thoughtful manner
  • To enjoy adding structure & taking a methodical approach to problems
  • To be a strong performer in your role historically

Pay Transparency Statement

This is a hybrid position based out of our Lehi office, with the expectation of being in office at least two weekdays per week. #LI-DNI

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
