We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Partner Platform team. This team builds and maintains the integration platforms and enable partner integrations to ingest claims into our Health care systems. Our goal is to develop the next generation healthcare platform, facilitating easy integration with various medical and pharmacy partners.

As a Lead Engineer, you’ll drive cross-functional initiatives, set technical direction for the team, and solve for complex claims processing problems. You’ll mentor engineers, lead design discussions, and ensure that our claim integration platform is robust, scalable, user-friendly and easy to manage.

What you'll do:

  • Design and Develop Components for Healthcare Eco-systems/Integration Engineering (integrate external systems and partners)
  • Design and Develop Enterprise software solutions that will solve critical business problems, are scalable, secure, easy to maintain, and interact with several internal and external applications
  • Provide recommendations and best practices for application development, platform development, and developer tools
  • Provide technical leadership and be a role model for other team members pursuing technical career path in engineering
  • Generate creative ideas for emerging business needs for Collective Health

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of Integration Engineering Experience - Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of Applications Integration using various tools and methodologies
  • Strong Experience design and development of solutions using Mulesoft, DWL
  • Strong Experience design and development of solutions using any of the leading programming languages, e.g. Java
  • Strong Experience with Automation: CI/CD, TDD, unit/integration/functional testing, build and deployment
  • Experience supporting high volume batch data processing, ETL concepts and pipelines
  • Experience with Relational Database Design and Implementation
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, LogSearch etc.
  • Healthcare Domain knowledge/EDI background - HL7/FHIR
  • Experience working hands-on cloud computing domain (AWS) highly desired
  • Practical experience in developing applications using microservices, container technologies, container management systems (AWS EKS) etc
  • Experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics

Pay Transparency Statement

This is a hybrid position based out of one of our offices: San Francisco, CA, Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office two days per week. #LI-hybrid

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
