Crusoe's mission is to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. We’re crafting the engine that powers a world where people can create ambitiously with AI — without sacrificing scale, speed, or sustainability.

Be a part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure.

About This Role:

Crusoe Energy is seeking an accomplished and proactive Logistics Lead to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This individual will take a strategic leadership role, responsible for scheduling, arranging, and coordinating complex logistic operations across the company. This role is critical for optimizing our transportation efficiency, ensuring equipment readiness, and providing leadership to logistics staff. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in logistics, transportation, and supply chain management, and thrives in an agile environment where cross-collaboration is key. This is a full-time position.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Strategic Dispatch, Receiving & Coordination:
Schedule, coordinate, and streamline the receiving and dispatch of equipment, materials, and resources for various operational projects. Plan inbound and outbound routes, dock schedules, and load sequencing for multi-stop deliveries and receipts, efficiently integrating our operations into the broader supply chain.

  • Leadership & Team Management:
Serve in a leadership role overseeing all logistics functions—from receiving through final delivery. Manage personnel in the logistics department, including shipping and receiving teams, scheduling shifts, and ensuring punctuality, accuracy, and compliance with company and transport regulations.

  • Shipping & Receiving Process Ownership:
Manage all aspects of the shipping and receiving process, including selecting carriers, arranging pick-up and delivery times, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, and ensuring materials are received and processed accurately. You will own transport and freight agreements, monitor shipment tracking, and ensure all materials are handled according to company policies to reduce risk of damage, loss, or theft.

  • Cross-Functional Forecasting & Collaboration:
Collaborate extensively with internal and external teams (e.g., Engineering, Procurement, On-Site Crews, Business Development, and 3rd Party Vendors) to forecast material and equipment needs. Coordinate with shipping companies, suppliers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely receiving, storage, and distribution of goods to support ongoing projects.

  • Process Improvement & Analysis:
Identify operational issues, potential bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve shipping and receiving workflows. Analyze data from logistics operations to continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction, improved turnaround times, and greater efficiency in material movement.

  • Inventory & Asset Readiness:
Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available while minimizing costs. Ensure all inbound materials are properly received, labeled, and stored efficiently for accessibility. Maintain asset readiness by ensuring equipment and resources are stored properly, efficiently maintained, and ready for immediate deployment.

  • Compliance & Audit Readiness:
Track and maintain detailed records for all inbound and outbound shipments to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance. Evaluate carrier and supplier performance based on delivery accuracy, timeliness, and overall service quality.

  • Communication:
Maintain clear and organized communication channels across all phases of our shipping, receiving, and logistics operations, ensuring transparency between departments and external partners.

  • Safety, Equipment, and Process Improvement:
Serve as the safety lead for the material handling and receiving areas, enforcing adherence to safety protocols, proper lifting techniques, and equipment operation procedures (forklifts, cranes). Train and certify new team members on the safe and effective operation of forklifts and signaling overhead crane operators. Actively identify, recommend, and implement process efficiencies within the material flow, applying best practices to improve throughput and accuracy across shipping and receiving operations.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or an equivalent field is required. You must have extensive experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the energy industry.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge and understanding of logistics, supply chain, and shipping procedures.

  • Leadership & Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and project management abilities.

  • Communication & Adaptability: Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks concurrently in an agile, fast-paced environment.

  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in the use of logistics software and other pertinent IT tools.

  • Metrics & Ownership: Demonstrated ability to build and design reports for KPI and OKR tracking and proven ownership of transport agreements.

  • Safety Commitment: A strong understanding of safety standards, regulations, and a commitment to environmental sustainability.

Bonus Points

  • Experience managing a departmental logistics budget.

  • Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD).

  • Experience with heavy haul equipment coordination.
