About This Role
As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will lead commissioning execution for assigned systems and scopes within Crusoe's data center projects. You will independently oversee test procedures, support documentation review, and serve as a go-to resource for field-level troubleshooting and issue resolution. What You'll Be Working On
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $155,000 -$165,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

What You'll Be Working On
- Lead the execution of commissioning test procedures across assigned systems including pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, and integrated systems tests.
- Review and provide input on commissioning test scripts, MOPs, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
- Serve as a field-level technical resource for troubleshooting and resolving commissioning deficiencies across mechanical or controls disciplines.
- Coordinate with trade contractors and subcontractors to schedule, sequence, and support commissioning activities on-site.
- Verify installation conditions against approved drawings, submittals, and specifications to confirm readiness for testing.
- Track and drive closure of open deficiencies, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Support integrated systems testing and reliability demonstrations for critical MEP, and BMS/EPMS infrastructure.
- Participate in factory witness testing and startup validation activities as assigned.
- Maintain complete and accurate commissioning records, field reports, and turnover packages.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Junior CxE team members in the field.
- Ensure adherence to Crusoe commission requirements and collect feedback from the field to improve the commissioning program.
- Communicate progress, risks, and technical issues clearly to the management team.
- Adhere to and help enforce site safety protocols and compliance requirements throughout all commissioning phases.
- 4+ years of experience in data center commissioning, building systems, or critical infrastructure construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; equivalent field experience considered (CxA certification a plus).
- Solid understanding of data center systems including cooling infrastructure, and BMS systems.
- Working knowledge of commissioning levels L1 through L5 and associated documentation and testing requirements.
- Ability to independently execute and troubleshoot functional and integrated system tests.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, single-line diagrams, submittals, and equipment specifications.
- Strong documentation habits with the ability to manage multiple open items accurately in a fast-paced field environment.
- Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across trades, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required (75% travel).
