Diamond Foundry is looking to bring on a Manufacturing Process Technician to the team. In this role, you will be joining a team of highly skilled production technicians and engineers. This position focuses on monitoring the production process and assisting the Process Engineering team in implementing improvements. We are looking for people with good problem resolution skills, who are proactive, flexible, and independent.
This role will work on morning 12-hour shifts, 4 days on - 4 days off.

Responsibilites

  • Develop and keep up to date new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)’s, Process Sheets and other documentation as necessary.
  • Monitor processes on a daily basis. Adjust where appropriate and notify Process Engineers on critical issues.
  • Work with team members and independently, with a high degree of initiative to support and maintain good manufacturing processes and continuous improvements.
  • Assist with equipment and process validations, optimizations, and characterizations to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing process.
  • Participate with multifunctional teams to boost root cause analyses, corrective actions and preventative measures.

Requirements

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in STEM subjects with less than 1 year of experience or have an associate degree (Grado Superior) in a technical field with at least 3 years of experience.
  • It is mandatory to possess advanced written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of data analysis/statistics and experience with related software.
  • Good computer skills, and MS-Office suite (or Google suite equivalent).
