Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably. We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.
Primary responsibilities are to provide manufacturing support to the Ops Team on night shift by communicating priorities, MES assistance, overseeing tool loading & unloading, managing timecards and PTO, and providing detailed passdowns (verbal and written) between shift changes.

Responsibilities

  • Production Oversight & Process Management: Oversee and prioritize all diamond production processes in the foundry, ensuring adherence to procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards. Monitor and adjust production processes and equipment to optimize efficiency and maintain productivity goals.
  • Data Accuracy & Communication: Record and maintain accurate production and quality data. Stay current on emails and process changes, communicating updates effectively across shifts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Administrative & Performance Management: Manage timecards, payroll, and employee reviews (quarterly when applicable) for 2-3 technicians. Utilize productivity tools and metric reports to drive performance and exceed company KPIs and OKRs.

Qualifications

  • Experience & Education: High school diploma (or GED) with 4+ years of applicable experience. Previous supervisory and manufacturing experience preferred, including small component assembly and the use of magnifying tools.
  • Technical & Physical Abilities: Strong manual dexterity with excellent vision to perform precision tasks. No work restrictions, with the ability to sit, stand, kneel, climb ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Communication & Leadership Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, maintaining professional decorum when providing feedback. Ability to oversee and guide department leads while fostering teamwork and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Adaptability & Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to process information and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Capable of multitasking while maintaining focus on production goals.
  • Work Ethic & Commitment: Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed. Maintains and enforces a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Wenatchee, located in eastern Washington alongside the Cascadian Mountains, is a beautiful recreational town with much to offer. This quaint town experiences four seasons and is accompanied by ski resorts for winter activities, copious amounts of bodies of water for summer fun, and easy access to breathtaking hikes. Wenatchee is a short driving distance from Leavenworth, known as "Little Bavaria," and the wine country of Chelan. We know that you'll love the year-long beauty of Wenatchee
