Make our first Latin American markets legible to a product team that will otherwise guess: the culture, the language, and the way things actually get passed between people. A standing panel of real users who test the product and its content every week. Last-mile content quality: language, tone, register, and whether it sounds like it was made here or translated. Relationships with creators, organisers and local media: the people who already hold the audience’s trust. Scrappy distribution experiments, run weekly, with an honest read on which ones deserve more. Turning what you hear into crisp product decisions rather than a list of requests. The first launch playbook, written so that the next country starts faster. Based in Latin America and fluent in how at least one local market actually lives, not how it gets described in a deck. Firsthand experience in Brazil or Colombia is especially useful. An operator rather than a campaign manager: you recruit users yourself, show up in person, and close loops. Warm and credible with strangers, and disciplined enough to tell a pattern from an anecdote. Excellent written Spanish or Portuguese, and good instincts about what is respectful. We hire through a paid work trial: seven to ten days with real users, real experiments, and the three highest-leverage changes you would make before launch.
