As Lead Lash Artist for your studio location, you will play a critical role in supporting the LUUM leadership team in creating an exceptional client experience every time. You will demonstrate your ability to perform the lash artist role at the highest standard while ensuring operational excellence, in addition to driving all bookings and reviews for the studio. You will lead by example, assist with daily studio operations, while providing direction and support to the team during your shifts. This role is a stepping stone for those interested in growing their leadership skills within LUUM and further developing their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads by example and empowers the team to exercise independent judgement, also by delegating tasks efficiently, and motivating team members to achieve outstanding results together.
  • Foster a culture of humanity by delivering exceptional client service, and coaching the team to treat every individual with respect and empathy.
  • Champion ongoing training for new and existing team members, promoting excellence by reinforcing company policies and best practices through collaborative teamwork.
  • Embrace excellence and ensure safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and inventory replenishment standards are consistently met.
  • Drive bookings and rebookings by engaging clients with humanity, promoting products with integrity, and encouraging add-on sales to enhance the client experience.
  • Resolve client and team issues promptly and professionally, demonstrating tenacity and judgement while escalating matters to management when appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of studio metrics and collaborate with the team to achieve all goals, exemplifying teamwork and a commitment to excellence.
  • Prepare the studio work schedule and accurately track time and attendance, demonstrating tenacity and attention to detail.
  • Communicate time and attendance discrepancies to People and Operations leaders, using judgement and transparency to support team success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 200 hours of lashing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must follow all established LUUM policies and have no written warnings.
  • Ability to motivate and guide a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of three months experience lashing with LUUM.
  • Successful completion of LUUM “Communications” and “Train the Trainer” training.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
