We’re seeking a dynamic and bilingual Senior Content Producer to lead the content production strategy and pipeline for Pokémon GO! This role involves full ownership of content development, working closely with various internal teams and IP partners to release new and exciting content. As a key member of the team, you will ensure that content is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and aligns with the game's vision and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Ownership: Lead several end-to-end content pipelines, from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality content releases.
  • Collaboration with Partners: Work closely with IP partners to align on content strategies and unlock new opportunities for the game.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including design, art, tech art, engineering, partnerships, and marketing, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings, to ensure our content needs are appropriately budgeted and launched to build a cohesive experience for players.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure content meets high standards.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of content, using data insights to advise strategic direction.
  • Process Development: optimize existing content production pipelines using tools like Jira to deliver quality end results.
  • Required in-office 2 days on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years in game production or a related field, with a solid understanding of live game operations.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures in both written and verbal communications.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Passion for Gaming: Deep understanding and excitement for Pokémon GO and the Pokémon franchise.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to make informed decisions using data analysis.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to launch content end-to-end, using proprietary game development tools as well as industry standard software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle multifaceted situations with little advance notice.

The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $193,500.00 - $215,000.00. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
