About the Role

You're the driving force behind pipeline growth — testing new ideas, launching campaigns, and making bold bets across any channel that gets results. From leading cross-functional campaigns to shipping weird, creative plays that actually work, you’ll have the autonomy to move fast and make a real impact here.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead our paid media efforts — develop new campaign ideas, and optimize performance across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.

  • Ship fast, weird, high-reward ideas — from one-off stunts to creative outbound campaigns, you’ll have room (and support) to test out-of-the-box ideas.

  • Coordinate campaigns end to end — working across the entire marketing team (events, content, product marketing, BDRs) to align creative, timing, and channel strategy to drive qualified pipeline.

  • Design and run growth experiments across channels — from A/B testing the website to trying new plays on high-performing landing pages or third-party platforms.

  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, experiment results, and growth trends — and use those insights to influence what we do next.

  • Be a multiplier — bringing structure and speed to campaigns on the marketing team.

If successful, you’ll have substantially contributed to Numeric’s growth and have laid the groundwork for future demand gen hires to join and expand the function.

What makes us excited about you:

You’ve worked in an early stage start-up environment and have either worked in product, growth, or marketing roles with 3+ years of total work experience.

  • You’re a self-starter. You’re drawn to the idea of being the first in the role and building out the playbook. You solicit inputs from the across the team — but can operate with considerable autonomy, making the early-stage environment a strong fit.

  • You’re creative. Before jumping to exactly how similar problems have been solved in the past, you think from first-principles. In every role you’ve joined, you’ve brought unorthodox ideas to the table. Brainstorming comes naturally to you.

  • You’ve run real experiments that turned into real results — you don’t need permission to test things, and you care about outcomes over channels.

  • You’re organized and decisive — you can take a messy problem and move it forward fast, without waiting for perfect information.

  • Bonus Points: You’ve managed paid campaigns hands-on or in close partnership with an agency — and know how to tie spend back to pipeline. (If not, then you’re very eager to dive-in and have experience working with data).

We work in person out of our offices in San Francisco and New York (in office by default but with flexibility to manage your schedule as you see fit).
