This role
We're seeking a Senior Director of Total Rewards & Operations to join our People team, reporting directly to the SVP of People. You will be responsible for defining and executing our total rewards strategy, ensuring we attract and retain top talent. You'll lead our People Operations, overseeing our systems, and championing the day-to-day support for all employees. This role is a vital link between our People and Finance functions, ensuring operational excellence and sound fiscal management.
Responsibilities
- Total Rewards Strategy: Develop and execute a global total rewards philosophy and strategy, including compensation, equity, benefits, and recognition programs. Ensure our programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business goals.
- Compensation and Equity Management: Lead the design and administration of global compensation structures, including salary bands, variable pay, and incentive plans. Manage our global equity program, including grants, refreshers, and public market readiness.
- Benefits and Wellbeing: Oversee the global benefits portfolio, ensuring our offerings are competitive and provide comprehensive support for our employees' physical, mental, and financial well-being.
- HR Operations & Systems: Lead the People Operations function, ensuring seamless and scalable HR processes from hire to retire. This includes managing HRIS (e.g. Rippling, etc.) and building a data-driven approach to HR.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure all total rewards and people operations programs are compliant with local, state, and international regulations. Prepare for and manage audits as needed.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of total rewards and people operations professionals.
Qualifications
- A seasoned total rewards leader with 10+ years of experience designing and managing global compensation and benefits programs, with a strong background in People Operations.
- Proven experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, with direct involvement in preparing for or managing a company's IPO journey.
- Deep expertise in equity program design and management, with a strong understanding of how to leverage equity to attract and retain talent in a public company context.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- An exceptional communicator and collaborator who can build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Experience leading and developing a global team.
