This role
The Performance Marketing Partner is responsible for driving customer acquisition, lead generation, and revenue growth through expert management of paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads or Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) in all PayJoy markets, owning the end-to-end execution, optimization, and performance of all paid channels while working closely with creative teams and P&L owners to ensure efficient budget allocation and continuous improvement across diverse audiences, channels, and markets.

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube) or Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), including campaign structure, audience targeting, bidding strategies, keyword strategies, creative testing, and placements to meet performance targets.
  • Optimize campaigns on a daily basis by adjusting bids, budgets, audience segmentation, creative rotation, keyword management, and exclusions based on performance data analysis.
  • Own conversion tracking and measurement infrastructure across Google and Meta platforms, including auditing events, audience lists, enhanced conversions, and collaborating with Marketing Analytics and Product teams to optimize tracking and performance.
  • Develop and execute creative testing strategies in collaboration with the creative team, structuring A/B tests for ad formats, messaging, visuals, and calls-to-action, maintaining clear documentation of learnings to inform future content strategy.
  • Manage audience strategy and segmentation across platforms by building and maintaining custom audiences, interest/behavior targeting, and advanced campaigns while minimizing audience overlap and creative fatigue.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, analytics, and digital channel teams by providing performance insights, recommendations for creative optimization, and platform opportunities to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or studying in a field related to Marketing.
  • 5+ years in performance or growth marketing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing teams and budgets.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Google Ads platform (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, Youtube) and strong understanding of Google Tag Manager for tracking implementation, or Expert-level proficiency in Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram).
  • Strong quantitative skills. Experience in Excel/Google Sheets a must. Knowledge of SQL and BI tools is a plus
  • Experience with Ecommerce a plus
