This role
The Recruiting Operations Manager is going to build and scale the operational foundation that enables high-quality, efficient hiring across the company. This role sits at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and Systems, ensuring our recruiting processes, tools, and data scale with PayJoy’s growth.
You’ll partner with recruiters, hiring leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize systems, improve processes, and surface operational insights that enable faster, higher-quality hiring. This role is ideal for someone who brings structure, clarity, and operational rigor to recruiting and is comfortable owning solutions from design through execution.
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize PayJoy’s recruiting workflows, and tool stack
- Design, document, and continuously improve standardized recruiting processes from intake to offer
- Build and maintain recruiting dashboards and reporting (funnel metrics, time-to-fill, source performance, capacity planning, forecast accuracy)
- Partner with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, HRBPs, and Finance on headcount planning and hiring forecasts
- Identify operational gaps in the recruiting process and independently implement scalable solutions
- Create playbooks, training materials, and documentation to enable recruiters and hiring teams to operate effectively
- Improve candidate experience through better coordination, communication, and process design
- Ensure recruiting operations are compliant with local regulations and internal policies
- Support system automations and integrations that increase recruiter efficiency and data accuracy
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in Recruiting Operations, Talent Operations, HR Operations, or similar operational role supporting hiring teams
- Strong experience managing and optimizing ATS systems (Lever, Greenhouse, Workday, or similar)
- Experience building recruiting dashboards and translating data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to independently own projects from problem definition through execution
- Highly organized with strong documentation and process design skills
- Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with recruiters, hiring managers, HR, and finance
- Strong analytical skills using Excel/Sheets
- Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments is preferred
