This role
The fraud prevention representative is responsible for analyzing the alerts generated by the different systems to determine if there is suspicion of fraud and, if necessary, act accordingly, reducing the impact for Payjoy or the client.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to alerts generated in systems about atypical operations to identify and prevent fraud.
  • Immediately validate official identity documents in sales detected as suspicious by automated tools:
  • Approved these legitimate cases to contribute to increased sales,
  • Block fraudulent cases and report them promptly.
  • Detect patterns and trends in internal and external risks to identify causes and propose controls to reduce fraud risks.

Qualifications

  • Technical or university studies unfinished in related areas such as Business Administration, Communications or similar.
  • Experience in customer service or attention, preferably in the sales or financial sector, at least one year.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite
  • Effective communication skills and cultural sensitivity to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a team, high sense of urgency and handling difficult situations under pressure.
