This role
The Growth Manager is responsible for driving PayJoy’s highest-priority sales growth initiatives by strengthening field execution systems, building high-performing merchant partners, accelerating merchant network expansion, and leading cross-functional programs that increase originations per store.
This role will be assigned a rotating portfolio of the most critical projects required to achieve PayJoy Philippines’ growth aspirations.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen field execution and selling systems across the sales organization, including Zoho adoption, itinerary planning, visit prioritization, in-store diagnosis, and post-call follow-through.
  • Design and operationalize the Hero Merchant program by identifying, acquiring, and scaling the highest-value merchants, with a goal of establishing 2 Hero Merchants per city producing ≥150 originations per month.
  • Build and accelerate the merchant network expansion engine by supporting geographic expansion planning, merchant acquisition funnel execution, and field capacity deployment to ensure rapid, predictable growth in active merchants.
  • Lead cross-functional growth initiatives with Marketing, Sales Enablement, Promoter Operations, Merchant Operations, and Key Account teams to improve the drivers of average originations per store.
  • Analyze merchant- and city-level performance to identify bottlenecks and launch targeted programs that unlock productivity and conversion uplift.
  • Build scalable playbooks, operating cadences, and SOPs that enable repeatable execution and sustainable growth across regions.
  • Coordinate across internal stakeholders to ensure priority growth initiatives move from strategy to field adoption with measurable impact.
  • Champion continuous improvement in merchant productivity, sales discipline, and execution rigor across the national retail network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales strategy, revenue programs, BizOps, growth, or field execution roles, ideally in high-growth environments such as fintech, retail tech, management consulting, or startups.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort operating through KPIs, funnels, and CRM systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver complex projects end-to-end.
  • Structured problem solver with the ability to diagnose execution bottlenecks and build repeatable solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across field and central teams.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and energized by dynamic, high-change environments.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with frontline merchants and sales execution realities.
