We’re on a mission to build the future of procurement, and we’re seeking a gritty, driven, and strategic Head of Sales to lead our revenue engine and accelerate our growth trajectory. Purchaser’s founding team has deep expertise in the space. The founders were core contributors to Xometry’s growth, helping scale the company to a $2B peak valuation and a $600M+ annual revenue run rate.
Role Overview
We’re looking for our first Account Executives to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from qualified lead through close. This is an opportunity to work closely with the founding team, shape the sales process, and sell a product buyers actively need.
This is not a “sit back and wait” AE role. You’ll be hands-on, self-motivated, and excited to help build the sales engine from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle: discovery, demo, objection handling, negotiation, close
Convert qualified inbound leads and help test outbound motions
Tailor Purchaser’s value to specific buyer pain points (e.g., RFQ chaos, MRO overload, vendor bloat)
Work closely with product and marketing to give feedback and help refine messaging
Maintain CRM hygiene and help us build scalable processes
Hit quota, learn fast, and help build something that lasts
What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience
Experience selling to manufacturing, procurement, or operations teams is a plus
Strong discovery and communication skills; you’re a great listener and problem-solver
Comfortable in ambiguity and startup pace — we move fast
Curious, gritty, and excited to build something from the ground up
Compensation & Benefits
At Purchaser, we believe top performers should share in the success they help create. Our compensation package for Account Executives is designed to reward strong sales execution and support long-term growth with the company.
Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000, based on experience and sales track record
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $160,000–$180,000, with uncapped commission and real upside for overperformance
