JOB OVERVIEW
We're seeking a Senior Product Counsel to lead product and commercial legal matters for our rapidly scaling robotics platform. This role will be the primary legal partner for our product, engineering, and business development teams, handling everything from privacy compliance to complex commercial agreements. You'll play a critical role in enabling our growth while protecting our IP and managing regulatory compliance in the emerging autonomous delivery space.
JOB DUTIES
Draft, negotiate, and manage all commercial agreements including customer contracts, partnership agreements, vendor agreements, and service agreements
Draft, negotiate, and manage all IP-related agreements including software development agreements and technology licenses
Protect and enforce company IP rights including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets
Ensure privacy compliance across all robot operations, data collection, and customer interactions
Navigate regulatory requirements for autonomous delivery robots across multiple jurisdictions
Provide legal guidance on product development and feature launches
Support product liability and risk management initiatives
Manage IP due diligence for partnerships and technology acquisitions
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, & SKILLS
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
JD from accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one jurisdiction
6+ years of legal experience with significant focus on commercial transactions and IP law
Experience with privacy law (CCPA, BIPA, GDPR, state privacy regulations)
Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
In-house counsel experience at high-growth technology companies
Technology industry experience preferred, ideally with robotics, autonomous systems, or mobility companies
Regulatory compliance experience in emerging technology sectors
Compensation Range: $150K - $200K
