Stell helps engineers at hardware companies in heavily-regulated industries (Space, Aviation, Medical Devices) streamline documentation and technical contract compliance.
Key Innovations:
A user-interface for building text-rich documentation with complex linking to describe hardware systems.
Secure collaboration on technical contracts, replacing traditional email and PDFs.
AI powered PDF parsing and automated workflows.
Stell’s clean and powerful interface enables fast collaboration across internal teams and external partners, supercharging engineering projects ⚡
In this Senior Software Engineer role you will:
Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of a highly reliable and performant enterprise web application
Work closely with the CEO and the Head of Product and Engineering to define and execute technical strategy and define architecture
Collaborate with aerospace and defense companies
Drive architecture, design, and code reviews, mentoring junior engineers and influencing critical technical decisions
Build prototypes to test new technologies and tradeoffs
Work across our databases, API, client codebases, and infrastructure
This may be a good fit if you:
Are a strategic thinker and problem solver with a track record of shipping high-quality products
Take a pragmatic, rather than a dogmatic approach to engineering, and can look at a system holistically
Have any experience working with or deploying large language models
Have deep experience in full stack development and cloud environments like AWS or GCP
Have experience setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters
Have hands-on experience writing Terraform code and managing infrastructure as code
Have 4+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on building and scaling web applications
Enjoy a supportive and inclusive environment, a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
Early stage start up experience
Familiarity with DevOps practices
Strong understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
